Peridots in collaboration with Fuli Gemstones

Freeform peridot gemstones

This pair of incredible peridots were on show with Fuli Gemstones at GemGenève in Switzerland from 3rd - 6th November 2022.

Mark Nuell cut these bright green sparkling gems from rough peridot stones in his signature freeform 'pebble' pear design. Each gem has 160 facets, showing extraordinary colour and fire! Weighing 4.05 carats and 6 carats respectively.

The impressively cut freeform peridot gemstones by Mark Nuell hold nearly 3 times as many facets as a standard brilliant cut diamond.

Fuli Gemstones embraces a core business model of “mine-to-market”, with the mine located in the foothills of the tranquil Changbai Mountains. Offering of a consistent supply of peridot gemstones with full traceability, adhering to safety standards for its mining production.

Goldsmiths Company Acquisition

Mark Nuell’s two rings, made from two Australian sapphires, are faceted in a freeform style which respects the natural beauty of colour and shape in each stone. He has sapphires in his blood, as he grew up near the Queensland gemfields and his father was a sapphire miner. Commending this acquisition, the jewellery expert and member of the Contemporary Craft Committee, Joanna Hardy, noted: “It is rare to find a goldsmith who can cut his own stones…to this level of craftsmanship and skill”.
