There's a particular kind of anticipation that builds every September, and this year is no different.
I'm delighted to be exhibiting at Goldsmiths' Fair for the 33rd consecutive year!
It's a milestone that still doesn't feel routine. Every year the work changes - new stones, new ideas, new ways of setting a gem I've never quite tried before - but the process behind it never does. Each piece starts with a stone: rough gem material sourced from trusted independent miners in Australia, which I cut and facet by hand before a single design decision is made. It's a slower way of working, and a rarer one.
You'll find me in Week Two, showing a new body of work made this way from start to finish - designed and crafted across my London and Devon studios. Come and see what's new, hold a few pieces, try them on. There's a difference between seeing a stone in a photograph and seeing the way it catches the light in person, and that's really what the Fair is for.
Goldsmiths' Fair, Week Two
29th September – 4th October 2026, Goldsmiths' Hall, London
The Fair has been the meeting point for the UK's finest jewellers and silversmiths since 1983 - a week where exceptional craftsmanship takes centre stage, and where every piece on every stand has a story behind how it was made. I always look forward to it, and this year especially, I can't wait to share what I've been working on.
Tickets are limited — secure yours before Week Two fills up. Have you got yours?

I’m Mark Nuell, a goldsmith and lapidary artist working in London and Devon. I grew up fossicking for sapphires in the Queensland Gemfields, and today I cut every stone by hand and set it in gold traceable to a single Australian mine. Most of my work is bespoke, designed around the individual character of the stone it’s made for.
